Layer shifts: slow it down or find the mechanical cause?
PrintVeld · 2026-10-07
A print shifts halfway up but the first layers look clean. Do you reduce acceleration immediately, or first inspect belts, pulleys, cable clearance, and possible nozzle collisions with the machine safely powered down? Tell us where the shift appears and what evidence helped isolate your own problem. One change at a time: what would you test next?
